Your work tools in your AI app, Clarabit inside ChatGPT and Claude, and cloud factory runs

October 28, 2026

Your AI app can now read the tools your work lives in, as you: Google Chat, Docs and Calendar, Granola, Attio and Intercom. In ChatGPT and Claude, Clarabit's tasks, pages and runs now appear as cards you can act on right in the chat. Clarabit can also run a factory for you in the cloud, using those same sources. And the app has a new layout that's quicker to move around.

New: your AI app can read your work tools through Clarabit

Why you should care: the context for most work isn't in your chat. It's in last week's meeting, a Google Doc, a Chat thread or a customer record. Now your AI app can pull that in through Clarabit, as you, without copying and pasting.

Open Connections from the workspace menu:

  • Google Chat and Docs: connect your own Google account. Your AI app can then list and search your Chat spaces, read messages (including the files, cards and links people share), and read any Doc you can open.
  • Google Calendar meetings: your AI app can list your meetings for a date range, with the meeting notes attached to each.
  • Granola: add your own Granola API key. Your AI app can read your meeting notes, and the transcript when you ask for it.
  • Attio (a workspace owner connects it once): your AI app can search and read records, notes, tasks and list entries. A task linked to an Attio record shows the record's name, stage and owner, and changes to that record appear in the task's activity.
  • Intercom (Fin) (a workspace owner connects it once): your AI app can search and read support conversations. A task linked to a conversation shows it inline.

Connections are read-only. Clarabit doesn't store what it reads, and each person's Google and Granola access stays their own. Members with access to only some projects can't read the workspace's Attio or Intercom data.

New: see and act on Clarabit inside ChatGPT and Claude

Why you should care: checking a task or accepting a run used to mean leaving the chat for the Clarabit app. Now the work comes to you.

When your AI app shows you a task, a page, a factory run or what needs you, it appears as a live card in the conversation. From the card you can claim a task, add a comment, or accept or reject a run, without leaving the chat. Ask your AI app to "open Clarabit" for a home view of what needs you, your projects and your tasks. In ChatGPT, Clarabit also appears in the sidebar.

Cards appear in AI apps that support interactive views, currently ChatGPT and Claude. Other apps, like Codex and Cursor, keep working as before, with text answers.

New: Clarabit can run a factory for you

Why you should care: some routines shouldn't have to wait for someone to open their AI app. A Monday brief should be ready on Monday.

A factory's owner can now switch it to Clarabit runs it, pick a model, and press Run now, or let its schedule start runs. Each cloud run shows what it cost. Running from your own AI app stays free.

The person a factory is assigned to can let its cloud runs read their connections (Google Chat, Docs and Calendar, and Attio) from the factory's Setup tab. Only that person can turn this on. Runs never write, and every read shows on the run page as evidence, so you can see where each fact came from.

New: briefs that read like a report, not a wall of text

Factories and AI apps can now write a page as a structured brief: headline numbers, callouts, tables of tasks that stay up to date, sources, and checks. It's easier to scan, and it still exports as plain text for sharing and email.

To find past briefs, use the new date filter in Pages. Pick a day, or a range, to see the pages created then, grouped by day. A page made by a factory says which run produced it and whether that run was accepted.

Improved: a redesigned app

  • A new layout: a left sidebar for your workspaces and your work, with the same headers, tabs and filters on every screen.
  • Jump anywhere: press Cmd+K to go to any task, page, factory or project.
  • Look without leaving: pages, runs, factories and attention items open in a side panel from any list. Use j / k to move between rows and o to open the full page.
  • Your work or everyone's: lists now have a people switch at the top. They open on Mine, which shows work assigned to you. Switch to Everyone to see the whole workspace; Clarabit remembers your choice.
  • Tasks by due date: filter Tasks by past due, due in the next 7 days, or no due date.

Improved: merge requests and pull requests stay with the work

Paste a GitLab merge request or GitHub pull request link on a task and Clarabit recognizes it, showing the repository and number. When an AI app finishes a factory run that produced one, the link is saved on the run and on its task.

Fixes

  • A task can only be assigned to someone who can open its project.
  • Task links must be a complete web address (http or https).
  • When a connected service fails, your AI app now gets the actual reason instead of a generic error.
  • A factory's overview no longer shows the name of a hand-off factory in a project you can't see.

Connector update

The cloud connector and the local MCP package are both on 2.15.4, with read tools for Google, Granola, Attio and Intercom, the in-chat views, and support for structured briefs. If the new tools or cards don't appear, reconnect Clarabit in your AI app. See the MCP changelog for what changed in each connection type and how to update.
